Many teams run every Scrum event on schedule and still miss their goals. Standups turn into status reports, retrospectives repeat the same complaints, and sprint commitments slip quietly. With distributed teams across time zones, the gaps get wider.
A senior Scrum Master focuses on outcomes: clear sprint goals, blockers removed quickly, honest metrics, and team habits that make delivery predictable.
Events with clear purpose and outcomes.
Escalating and fixing impediments quickly.
Cycle time, throughput and predictability.
Working across time zones with good written habits.
Supporting product owners and engineers.
Jira, Azure DevOps and reporting dashboards.
Unpredictable delivery. When commitments keep slipping, the business stops trusting the roadmap.
Wasted meeting time. Ceremonies without purpose take hours from every engineer each week.
Hidden blockers. Problems surface late, when they are most expensive.
Every engineer we put forward has at least five years of hands-on experience. Within that, here is how the levels differ.
Scrum Master (5–8 years). Runs Scrum or Kanban for one or two teams, facilitates events that matter, tracks flow metrics and removes blockers. Holds PSM or CSM certification or equivalent experience.
Agile Coach / Delivery Lead (8+ years). Works across several teams, aligns roadmaps and dependencies, introduces scaled practices where needed and coaches product owners and managers.
Distributed team delivery. Making teams across India, Europe and the US work as one
Delivery recovery. Stabilising teams that keep missing sprint goals
Metrics and reporting. Cycle time, throughput and predictability that leadership can use
Coaching. Helping product owners write better backlogs and teams improve continuously
Week one. They observe the team, review the backlog, metrics and recent sprint outcomes.
Weeks two and three. First changes: clearer sprint goals, better standups and a visible blocker log.
Week four. A written improvement plan with metrics to track progress.
Using the Scrum Master as a note taker. The role is to improve delivery, not to run the calendar.
Measuring velocity alone. Flow metrics and outcomes matter more than story points.
Ignoring time zones. Distributed teams need deliberate overlap and written habits.
