Going live on Workday is a milestone, not a finish line. After the implementation partner leaves, internal teams often face a growing list of integration failures, reports that don’t quite answer the question, and twice-yearly releases that need testing. Spreadsheets creep back in to fill the gaps.
A senior Workday consultant knows the tenant well enough to fix those gaps properly: reliable integrations, calculated fields and reports people trust, and configuration that follows the business process.
EIB, Core Connectors, Studio and web services.
Advanced reports and calculated fields that answer real questions.
Configuration that fits how your HR and finance teams work.
Security groups and domain policies that are clear and auditable.
Regression testing and preparing for updates.
Careful treatment of sensitive employee data.
Payroll and benefits errors. Failed or incorrect integrations to payroll and benefits providers affect employees directly.
Manual workarounds. When reports and integrations fall short, HR and finance teams rebuild data in spreadsheets.
Release risk. Without regression testing, twice-yearly updates can break business processes and integrations.
Every engineer we put forward has at least five years of hands-on experience. Within that, here is how the levels differ.

Weeks two and three. First fixes to the most painful integrations or reports, tested in a sandbox tenant.
Week four. A written list of risks and a plan for the next release.
Hiring a generalist HRIS person. Workday Studio and integrations are specialist skills.
No release testing plan. Each release needs a short, repeatable regression test.
